We are in search of a Business Development Representative whose main objective would be to support the team in expanding LendCare’s partner base. This position will use phone calls, virtual meetings, and emails to connect with vendors across Canada in efforts to set up meetings to pitch LendCare’s technology and financial products as a payment solution for their consumers, then close on a partnership agreement. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience into 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up appointments and meetings for Senior Business Development Representatives with potential partners
  • Prospecting and qualifying leads
  • Reach out and introduce the decision maker to LendCare and sell them on our solutions
  • Support the Senior Business Development Representatives in successfully closing deals with partners
  • Collect and review partnership documentation

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in sales and/or business development
  • Experience in cold calling, appointment-setting, and outbound phone calls is an asset
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in using software solutions such as CRMs, Soft Phones, Virtual Meetings, Digital Contract Signing
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
  • Full-time availability with the ability to work in our head office in Pickering, ON
